The Victoria Chapter of the Australian Geomechanics Society invites you to its Annual General Meeting on Wed. 28th of November 2018, followed by its Annual Dinner. During the AGM the chair, Guillermo Narsilio, will summarise the Chapter’s activities throughout the year. We are proud to welcome Ms Rachel Nicholls of ARUP to talk to us as we dine.
Sponsorship Opportunity
The Victoria Chapter would like to invite sponsorship of their Annual Dinner with Guest Speaker on Wednesday 28 November 2018.
The Sponsorship Package Includes
- having your company logo and name on the event webpage
- the opportunity for a 3-5 minute presentation before dinner
- the opportunity to have a banner in the venue
- the opportunity to distribute small items of marketing material
- registration for the event for two nominated persons
Requirements
To be included as a sponsor for the event, you will need to complete the sponsorship form and send to [email protected].
You will also need to provide a high resolution (EPS or PDF format) logo of your company for use in marketing and presentation materials.
In considering offers of sponsorship, AGS Victoria will seek a balance in industry type and therefore do not guarantee to accept all offers.
About the speaker
Rachel Nicholls Area Manager, ARUP
Infrastructure Engineering Across The World
Rachel Nicholls graduated from Imperial College, London in the late 1980’s and joined Arup as a graduate geotechnical engineer. She has maintained her passion for geotechnical engineering throughout her 30 year career to date, working on significant building, infrastructure and industrial projects in Europe, America, Korea and, from 2008, Australia.
She is particularly motivated by delivering infrastructure projects that make a real difference to the cities in which we live, and the challenge of coordinating the multi-disciplinary design and construction teams that are needed to deliver these projects. None more pertinent at the moment, that the Metro Tunnel here in Melbourne where Rachel is Area Manager for the State Library Station.
