Geotechnical Challenges for Development in the Hunter Region
Newcastle and Hunter Region contain a diverse range of geological conditions which provide a variety of challenges for development including settlement due to consolidation of deep soft soils, reactive soils, slope stability and mine subsidence issues.
The AGS Newcastle chapter is proud to present the attached symposium which will have specific relevance to the engineering profession and associated disciplines in both the private and public sectors, whether it be for the investigation, design, consent or construction of future developments within the Hunter Region.
Engineers Australia members participating in AGS technical sessions can record attendance on their personal CPD logs. Members should refer to Engineers Australia CPD policy for details on CPD types, requirements and auditing guidelines.
