This week we start a five part series on the outcomes of the midyear executive committee meeting in Paris! I want to spread the results over five weeks. This week was a week of geodisasters! We have more photos of the large rockfall in the Tyrol part of Austria. We also had continued volcanic activity in Hawaii (Kilauea) and the Philippines. News about the Himalayan glaciers melting very fast and the tilt of the earth being affected by pumping too much groundwater. Also, Scotland has had a heat wave and lots of associated disasters!
