Everyone is very excited that next week will be our big congress in China. It has been five years since our last one! Also, the Americans are also having their annual AEG conference the same week in Portland, Oregon (my hometown).
This past week has had two major geodisasters — a very devastating earthquake in Morocco and large floods in Libya — both with over 2000 deaths.
