There is lots of news in this week’s IAEG Connector! The YEG group from Pakistan participated in a big geological hazard symposium in May! Congratulations! Our IAEG Executive Committee had a successful meeting in the Netherlands preparing for us a world class congress in 2026.
There were lots of news items of geodisasters this past week too! There were large floods in Nepal, Tibet, Texas (U.S.) and New Mexico (U.S.). There also was a tunnel collapse in the United States, a landslide in China and earthquakes on Mt. Rainier in the United States.
