In eastern Russia there was a very large M8.8 earthquake which was followed by the eruption of the Klyuchevskoy Volcano nearby. Lava has filled the Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii, U.S., too. There were large sandstorms in Peru, and 90 million liters of meltwater has been produced under the Greenland ice sheet.
