AGS Civil and Geotechnical Engineering Student Networking Evening

What’s life like as a Civil or Geotechnical Engineer? What opportunities are there for Civil Engineering graduates? Here is your chance to find out. The SA/NT Chapter of the Australian Geomechanics Society have arranged a networking evening where Civil Engineering Students will have the opportunity to talk to senior engineers from leading consultancies over a drink and canapes. Come prepared with good questions, you may be just be talking to your future manager!

The evening involves two stages:

  1. A “speed-dating” segment where you talk to a wide range of engineers to learn about their companies and make an impression.
  2. A more traditional, informal “free range” segment where you can move around and follow up with engineers you’d like to chat with more.

This is a FREE event for Civil & Geotechnical Engineering students but you must RSVP prior by 21 August 2023. Admittance of industry participants will not be permitted without confirmation by the event organisers.
