Geology and geomorphology of Port Phillip Bay

We are fortunate enough to have Mr Neville Rosengren back this year to guide another field trip, this time to the Bellarine Peninsula.

Neville will give a presentation of the geology and geomorphology of the Bellarine Peninsula on Wednesday 11th May followed by a day trip on the Saturday to a number of selected sites along the peninsula.

The field trip will visit selected geological at:

• Point Henry
• Beach at Beacon Point Road
• Point Lonsdale
• Barwon Heads

Please note that the field trip on Saturday 14 May will commence at 9am and finish at 4pm.

While the meeting is free the field trip costs are as follows:

• AGS Full members $25
• Students $15 (AGS Student members and non-member students)
• All others $35

The field trip bus will be departing from Lower Esplanade carpark adjacent to Palais Theatre, St Kilda
