Newcastle and Hunter Region contain a diverse range of geological conditions which provide a variety of challenges for development including settlement due to consolidation of deep soft soils, reactive soils, slope stability and mine subsidence issues.
The AGS Newcastle chapter is proud to present the attached symposium which will have specific relevance to the engineering profession and associated disciplines in both the private and public sectors, whether it be for the investigation, design, consent or construction of future developments within the Hunter Region.
