Lessons from Failures
Failures provide one of the best learning tools to improve geotechnical practice. This talk will review a range of geotechnical failures and discuss the wider lessons to be learnt for everyday consulting. The examples will include large and small problems resulting from failures in design & documentation, specifications and construction.
