North Para Flood Control Dam

Site Visit

You are invited to a site visit of the construction of North Para Flood Control Dam; a 30 m high dam constructed of Roller Compacted Concrete across the North Para River. Short presentations will be provided by project staff on the geomechanics and construction aspects of the project.

The AGS acknowledges the support of the Earthworks and Roller Compacted Concrete Contractor (Bardavcol), the Land Owner (Gawler River Flood Management Authority) and the Dam Designer and Superintendent (URS) for making this site visit possible.
