Student Networking Evening

What’s life like as a Geotechnical Engineer? What opportunities are there for Civil Engineering graduates? Here is your chance to find out. The SA/NT Chapter of the Australian Geomechanics Society have arranged a networking evening where Civil Engineering Students will have the opportunity to talk to senior engineers from leading consultancies over a drink and canapes. Come prepared with research and good questions, you may just be talking to your future team member or manager!

The evening involves two stages:

  1. A speed-networking segment where you rotate and talk to a wide range of engineers to learn about what they do as geotechnical engineers and make an impression!
  2. A more traditional, informal networking segment where you roam freely and follow up with interested professional engineers you’d like to chat more with.

Tickets are FREE for all students and places are limited so please register soon to avoid missing out! Your ticket includes event access and canapés during the event. Drinks are available for purchase at the venue. Registration closes 31st July.

Admittance of students to the event will not be permitted without a valid ticket. Confirmation by the event organisers is required for admittance of industry participants.
