UniSA – Mawson Lakes Laboratory Tour

Australian Geomechanics Society invites you to UniSA Lab and PhD research event. The current PhD researches in UniSA combine different advanced theories to develop better understanding of many aspects of geotechnical problems to transform technique from theory to practice. These theories include:

As part of the laboratory tour, visitors will have the opportunity to visit the geotechnical and structural laboratory facilities at Mawson Lakes Campus. The equipment in geotechnical laboratory includes stress/strain path control simple/direct shear testing device, stress/strain path control triaxial testing system with bender element, repetitive load triaxial testing system (for pavement materials), a range of soil suction change and SWCC device, MTS loading rig etc.

The proposed schedule for the event is as follows:
5:00 pm – PhD Presentations
5:30 pm – UniSA Lab Tour
6:30 pm – Dinner at the Mawson Lakes Hotel

Attendees are welcome to attend any, or all of the above. Please see registration options for laboratory tour and dinner.

To RSVP for this event please select whether you will attend the tour only or plan on attending both tour and dinner, as we will need numbers to book dinner. Attendees will pay for their own meal.
