The next journal issue will be published in late-March 2023, and we are calling for papers from risk and resilience management professionals who would like to share their experience and insights with their colleagues. Aligning with the Australian CIS (Cyber and Infrastructure Security) Conference 2023, the theme for this edition is “Cyber Security & Critical Infrastructure” – and we are looking to publish 18 papers in total. The Environmental and Engineering Geophysical Society (EEGS) and the Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists (AEG) are convening an online virtual platform symposium over 2 half-days in May, 2023 on “Life of Mine – Maintaining Sustainability Through Geoscience”. Life of Mine activities cover from mine feasibility planning through to closure with geoscience contributing practical assistance to the life of mine site key activities to sustain the mine and leave an acceptable legacy – the 6Rs: “Regulation, Running, Rehabilitation, Re-purposing, Retirement and Reclamation”. Customized geoscience workflows contribute through implementation of the 4Ms: “Mapping, Monitoring, Modeling and Management”. The virtual symposium will be held on May 15-17, 2023.
