Experiences of longwall mining alongside the Nepean Fault at Tahmoor Mine, NSW

Over a period of 15 years between 2007 and 2022, Tahmoor Mine successfully managed potential mine subsidence impacts to surface features when it extracted Longwalls 24A to 32 and Longwalls W1 to W4 to the west of the Nepean Fault Complex. This paper summarises experiences observed as Tahmoor Coal mined alongside the Nepean Fault Complex.
