Landslides in the Wianamatta Group, Baulkham Hills Shire, Sydney

This paper describes the geometrical, geotechnical and hydro-geological characteristics of landslides in the Wianamatta Group in the Baulkham Hills Shire, Sydney.

It proposes a strategy for managing the geotechnical risk posed by the landslides on proposed urban development, and suggests remedial works which would allow development with a low risk to property and loss of life.
